K-INBRE's Juliane Simmons Wins First Place for Oral Presentation at Atlanta Meeting

Juliane Simmons from Langston University won first place for an oral presentation in the Genetics category at an Emerging Leaders meeting in Atlanta, presenting summer research supported by K-INBRE.

K-INBRE extends congratulations to Juliane Simmons from Langston University, who won first place for an oral presentation at an Emerging Leaders meeting over Spring Break in Atlanta. Simmons presented summer research in the Genetics category.

As one of the oral presenters at the K-INBRE Symposium back in January, K-INBRE personnel recognized Simmons's potential. His name will appear in the Award Winners section of the Emerging Leaders website once it is updated to reflect the 2026 winners.
